About the Drawing….

People often ask me how I did this drawing. It is the same paper and pencils that I always use, but everything is done in reverse, sort of. The whitest part of the horse is the paper showing through and I lightly draw in the greys and darker details that bring the horse to life. And that nearly black background is done manually with the point of a pencil and definitely uses a lot of my softest and darkest pencils.
