About the Drawing….

I am all about detail, which made this one enormously fun to do. I particularly like getting to mix textures like silver and leather and horse hair, but the eye is the main focus. When I start a drawing, I finish the eye first because then the subject starts to take on a more “real” quality which then makes it easier for the rest of the drawing to come to life.
