About the drawing….

My friend Emily Kitching took the photo I used for this drawing and titled the piece for me. It’s from a Dave Stamey song and it fit it so perfectly. Drawing dirt (or something more organic) on boots isn’t easy. There are so many textures here, and working in such fine detail made the whole drawing an enjoyable challenge.
