“Pieces of the Past”

This bison skull hangs in my den. My fella has a cabin in the mountains in southern Colorado that we try to get to as often as possible. On one of our trips I thought it would be cool to take this skull along and hang it on one of the many abandoned cabins in the nearby National Forest. We took the ATV to a particular cabin that Jeff had in mind and managed to get some great reference photos for me to draw from. We spent an hour at least taking different photos, but the very first couple I took were the ones I used for this drawing.
