“King of the Forest”

This is a drawing of a Yellowstone Grizzly. I saw my first Grizzly bear in Yellowstone two years ago, but she was too far away even for my great big lens and I wasn’t about to get any closer. She had two cubs with her and it was a delight to see her with them from the safety of a large distance and my binoculars. A friend of mine went there a few weeks later and came across this one which ended up being much closer. He was kind enough to let me draw this from his photo.
